描述：Two different sequences of the feline leukemia virus transmembrane protein, a cluster of polar positive amino acids (residues 573-584) and the highly conserved region (residues 534-550), were synthetically linked. The resulting 29-amino acid peptide AKLRERLKQRQQLQNRRGLDILFLQEGGL displayed several biological activities, such as cytostatic effects on mitogen-activated murine splenocytes and thymocytes. Furthermore, it specifically inhibited the release of murine leukemia virus from two chronically infected cell lines.
